Experience summary

I’ve spent 25+ years working mostly across Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, and Finland, moving from web development and accessibility into agile leadership and organisational development. Along the way I’ve learned that great products come from teams who trust each other, communicate clearly, and feel safe enough to do their best work.

These days I help distributed teams work well together, while digging into how AI can help with that. I’m especially drawn to sustainability-focused product organisations, based in Sweden or remote anywhere in Europe, where technology serves resilience, well-being, or a fossil-free future.

Where I’ve worked:

  • Sweden 2018–present — Consultant Scrum Master / Agile Practitioner and Senior Software Engineer (via One Agency and Nion) with Trygg-Hansa, Skatteverket, and Sony in Malmö and Lund, mostly remote.
  • Denmark 2010–2018 — Web Accessibility Consultant and Lead UI Developer/Architect with Social Digital, Diversa, Bownty, Citrix (Podio, Beagle), and DigitasLBi in Copenhagen.
  • Belgium 2003–2010 — Web Communications Officer and Accessibility Specialist/UI Developer for EU institutions and organisations in Brussels, including the ECA.
  • Finland 1999–2002 — MSc in Economics and Business Administration, University of Jyväskylä. Major: Information Systems Science, minors in multimedia, marketing, and music.
  • Finland 1991–1999 — Studied jazz at the Sibelius Academy Jazz Department (1993–1999) and (Oulunkylä) Pop & Jazz Conservatory (1991–1993). Gigged and taught drums: my first lessons in listening, teamwork, and reading a room.

Certifications

A mix of Agile, Scrum, AI, and climate learning, because the work keeps changing, so I do too.
